- Project read access, or an explicit shared-record grant for a restricted collaborator.
Use the register as the principal work surface#
The register opens at full width until a record is selected. Search by tag, equipment or supplier; combine the review filter, saved view, columns, sort and page controls. Important cell values can be inspected rather than silently truncated.
Keep the object identity clear#
Select a tag to open the inspector, or use Open record for the equipment's full-page view. Its own tag identifies the record. Overview, Specifications, Documents, Reviews, Delivery and History group related work without mixing historical migration fields into everyday specifications.
Inputs and terminology#
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Equipment tag | The project's business identifier used to locate a physical equipment record. |
| Record revision | The maintained version used for conflict detection; it is separate from a supplier's specification revision. |
Procedure#
Find and select the equipment
Apply a useful filter or saved view, then select the business tag. Check the owner, required basis, delivery commitment and review state.
Open complete values and sources
Inspect a cell or open the full record. Follow its document and review links to the retained source versions.
Return with context
Use the register return control to restore filters and list context. Clear the selected record when the full register is needed again.
Verify the result#
You can identify the equipment, inspect its complete values and retained evidence, and return to the same working context.
What happens next#
Selecting a row does not approve its requirements, supplier assertion or delivery readiness.
