Open Reviews and select a finding. The comparison surface aligns exact source versions, raw and normalized values, excerpts and locations. The decision panel keeps impact, assigned reviewer, review state and next actions visible.
A difference is evidence to investigate. It does not by itself establish a technical conflict, acceptable substitution, available capacity or readiness to energize.
Preserve the basis of past decisions#
New uploads do not rewrite the source versions behind historical decisions. Inspect source warnings and supersession before deciding whether a new comparison or reassessment is needed.
Inputs and terminology#
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Finding | A retained comparison result such as a different value, missing confirmation, ambiguous source, unknown value or incompatible unit. |
| Disposition | An authorized reviewer's recorded outcome and rationale. It is distinct from the detected difference and from an equipment design approval. |
Procedure#
Open the retained comparison
Read the finding and open both source versions; verify that the cited fields belong to the intended equipment and revision.
Use the appropriate authority
A qualified reviewer with review permission records the disposition. Assign follow-up when additional evidence or clarification is required.
Verify the result#
The finding is understood in its exact source context and has an explicit reviewer or next action.
What happens next#
A reviewer disposition records a project decision; the software does not certify a design or authorize procurement, operation or energization.
