Before you begin#

  • Qualified human authority and the project's technical-review permission.
  • Access to the finding's exact source versions and current review state.

Hypothetical synthetic evidence and follow-up example#

For demonstration tag SWG-01, compare requirement E-101 Revision C with supplier confirmation OC-204 Revision B. Inspect raw C/B and the exact original versions; the difference alone does not establish acceptability. If an authorized qualified reviewer accepts the finding of a difference, a rationale such as “Applicable revision needs supplier confirmation,” plus an owner and due date, creates the permitted linked follow-up. Select the outcome justified by the human review; accepting the finding is not accepting the equipment design. No actual human engineering approval is asserted by this example.

Procedure#

  1. Inspect the decision basis

Open the finding's stable review route. Compare source versions, values, units, excerpts and uncertainty.

Check whether the evidence is available and whether a newer source requires reassessment.

  2. Record the permitted outcome

Choose Record decision. Select the outcome allowed by the current state and enter the supporting rationale.

For an accepted finding, selecting both an owner and due date creates a linked action. Select an affected delivery stage when that action should participate in its readiness conditions.

  3. Inspect retained history and follow-up

After saving, inspect the decision history and related actions. Verify the intended owner and due date.

Use assignment/impact controls for subsequent triage. Record resolution evidence and obtain the required human review before completing a finding-linked action.

Verify the result#

The disposition and reason are retained against the exact evidence. Any chosen follow-up has an accountable owner and due date.

What happens next#

Acceptance is not design certification. A comment, uploaded file or action status alone does not replace an authorized reviewer decision.
