Inspect exact document versions behind a finding
Follow the comparison to its original source, location and revision without changing the historical evidence.
Current Revision 2 Reviewed Oct 25, 2026
Before you begin#
- Read access to the finding and the cited project document versions.
- A source version that has passed required security checks; missing evidence must remain explicit.
Procedure#
Compare the aligned evidence
Open the finding and inspect Reference source and Comparison source. Check source version, exact value, normalized value/unit, excerpt and location.
Do not assume that a normalized value repairs missing units or ambiguity in the original.
Open the retained source
Choose Open source evidence and inspect the cited version. Use the original PDF preview or authorized source download where available.
Use extracted text or structured tables for navigation, then verify the original page or cell and revision.
Record uncertainty and the next action
Inspect Comparison basis and uncertainty. Keep unavailable, ambiguous and missing fields visible.
Return to the decision panel only after establishing the relevant evidence; request supplier clarification or assign follow-up when it remains unresolved.
Verify the result#
The reviewer can identify exactly which bytes, version, field and location support the finding and any later decision.
What happens next#
Opening a newer upload does not replace the retained source used by an earlier decision. Source content is untrusted evidence, not an instruction to the application.
